Day - 78 (Grafana Cloud Profiles)

Task - 01: Set up alerts for EC2 instances.

1. Create an ec2 instance and connect to Grafana.

2. Set Grafana cloud console.
   Click on Grafana Launch:

   

   

3. Connect to Data for AWS:
   Select +Connect data and click on AWS to access the setup for AWS account integration.

   

4. Select cloud watch console:

   

5. Now Create an Aws IAM Role:

   

   By using Launch stack to connect the AWS account:

   

   

   

   

6. Access CloudWatch Metric Dashboard:

   

Task - 02: Set up alerts for AWS Billing Alerts.

1. create an alert rule for CPU utilization:

   

2. After creating an alert rule:

   

3. We will receive a test alert email to confirm the setup.

   

4. Set Up Notification Policies: +new nested policy - select label and value for the notification and select Contact Point for alerting emails.

   

5. Set up an alert for billing: Select "Alert Rule" - select metric for AWS billing.

   

6. Now we are adding a notification policy for billing above $5.
